The Casella 24 series sound level meter is a very simple to use, all digital sound level meter. It meets the ANSI standards, has a 2 year warranty, and has a unique display that can toggle between the numerical reading and a graph.
There are 2 versions, a 240 and 246 – the 240 has instantaneous and maximum levels, the 246 adds logging, selectable logging intervals, and averaging. Both units have software that’s available to download a simple histogram. Using the instrument is really simple as there are only two operating keys. Both versions are battery powered using alkaline batteries.
