The Ion Science Falco Pumped Fixed VOC Gas Monitor is a fixed VOC gas monitor. It eliminates false readings found with other competing technology. It continuously detects Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in hazardous areas. Using a sample line to draw samples it is ideal in difficult locations underground or confined spaces.
With an externally located Intrinsically Safe sensor for quick and easy servicing, there is no need for a hot work permit. Dual certification allows Falco to be serviced and calibrated in a hazardous environment without removing power!
The standard Falco fixed VOC gas monitor both Pumped and Diffused models have a 10.6 eV lamp allowing detection of a wide range of VOC gases. There are 4 detection ranges available, including 0 – 10 ppm, 0 – 50 ppm, 0 – 1000 ppm and 0 – 3000 ppm.
The Falco TAC, both Pumped TAC and Diffused TAC models utilize a 10.0 eV lamp to detect Total Aromatic Compounds (TACs) which help focus on benzene. The Falco TAC is available with a detection range of 0 – 50 ppm.
