ION Science Falco Diffused Fixed VOC Gas Detector is a fixed VOC gas detector. It eliminates false readings found with competing technology. It continuously detects VOCs in hazardous areas. The Falco diffused & Falco TAC diffused instrument is ideal for detecting VOCs in areas such as refineries and petrol chemical facilities.
Externally located, the Intrinsically Safe sensor makes for easy servicing. Dual certification allows Falco to be serviced and calibrated in a hazardous environment without removing power!
The standard Falco, both the Pumped and Diffused models have a 10.6 eV lamp allowing detection of a wide range of VOC gases. The fixed gas detector has 4 detection ranges available, these ranges include 0 – 10 ppm, 0 – 50 ppm, 0 – 1000 ppm and 0 – 3000 ppm.
The Falco TAC, both pumped TAC and diffused TAC models, use a 10.0 eV lamp for detecting Total Aromatic Compounds (TACs) which focuses on benzene. The Falco TAC has a detection range of 0 – 50 ppm.
